The RaZberry expansion board from Z-Wave.Me turns a Raspberry Pi mini computer into a Z-Wave network controller. The Z-Way software is included, which has an open API for interaction and allows you to create complex scenarios. The board also supports the standard Zensys API (SerialAPI) and is compatible with programs such as Z-Cloud, Open Z-Wave and OpenRemote.
Z-Way for RaZberry provides HTTP/JSON API and C API (dynamically pluggable library), and also includes a Google V8-based JavaScript engine for creating custom logic and automation scripts.
Additional functionality of the Serial API:
Explorer Frames support for dynamic network rebuilding
The ability to update the firmware
Backup and restore network topology
The Z-Way software has the following characteristics:
Certified software written in C/C++/JavaScript
Network controller functions: enable/exclude and configure the network
Tested on Raspbian wheezy and OpenELEC OS
Provides API levels of C and/or JSON over HTTP
Home automation server based on JavaScript modules
Supported command classes: AlarmSensor, Association, Basic, Battery, Configuration, Clock, Door Lock, DoorLockLogging, Indicator, Manufacturer Specific, Meter, Multichannel, Multichannel Association, MultiCommand, NodeNaming, Protection, SceneActivation, SceneActuatorConf, SceneControllerConf, ScheduleEntryLock, Security, SensorBinary, SensorConfiguration, SensorMultilevel, SwitchAll, SwitchBinary, SwitchMultilevel, ThermostatFanMode, ThermostatFanState, ThermostatMode, ThermostatOperatingState, Time, TimeParameters, ThermostatSetpoint, UserCode, Version, Wake-up
Operating frequency: 869.0MHz / 868.42 MHz (switchable from software)
Interface: UART
Detailed documentation is available on the website. . The description of the API level C is supplied with the software as .h files.
Attention! The Raspberry Pi computer is not included in the package.
