TFortis SWU-16 Switchboard

The TFortis SWU-16 Managed Gigabit Switch for IP video surveillance systems is designed to connect TFortis PSW series outdoor switches via fiber optic cable. The case is designed for installation in a standard telecommunications rack with a width of 19" (height — 1U, depth — 280 mm).

Switch Characteristics:

• The bandwidth of the switching matrix is 25 Gbit/s.
• The packet forwarding rate is 25.3 Mbit/s.
• The MAC address table is 8K.
• Operating time for failure is ≥75,000 hours.

The switch is equipped with 12 GE SFP slots for connecting optical transceivers (compatible with any SFP modules operating at 1.25 Gbps with the SERDES interface) and building long-range IP video surveillance systems. Supports star, line and ring topologies and hot swappable SFP modules. It is equipped with four RJ-45 GE ports for connecting network video recorders (NVRs), automated client workstations (APMs) and other network devices.

The switch is controlled via the Web interface, Telnet, and the SNMP network Management protocol (versions 1 and 3). A Type B console USB port is provided for CLI management and software updates.
