The Esmart Reader Stone reader is adapted to year—round outdoor use: the case, made of artificial stone, meets the IP65 standard for protecting shells from moisture and dust, and the operating temperature range is -40 °C... +85 °C. Supports HF standard identifiers (13.56 MHz), obtaining an individual UID (User identifier) number, and transport applications. Along with physical media, it supports identification from smartphones based on iOS 9.0 and above, Android 4.4 and above via Bluetooth Low Energy*, and phones with NFC** in HCE mode***.
The reader transmits data via a secure OSDP protocol via the Wiegand interface. There are several levels of protection against cloning, copying and hacking of the card: CMAC signature of the identifier, encryption key diversification, AES encryption during data exchange between the reader and the identifier, protection against replay attacks.
Reader Stone is configured with the Esmart® Configurator application, transmitted via BLE, or with a special configuration card. To enter the configuration mode, you need an individual Master card included in the package. The user can configure:
