The Esmart Reader OEM reader is a board without a housing (module) with the ability to connect an external antenna, designed for installation in ACS (turnstiles, intercoms, etc.), where installation is required while maintaining the appearance of the original device.
It supports identification using HF (13.56 MHz) standard cards, obtaining an individual UID (user ID) number, and transport applications for cities in the Russian Federation and around the world. The protocol for transmitting data to the access controller is OSDP, the interface is Wiegand.
Supports identification for ACS by mobile phone: "hands—free" mode — a reading distance of up to 10 m, with an Android and iOS smartphone via BLE*, "lean like a card" mode - a reading distance of up to 10 cm, with an NFC phone** in HCE mode***, working as a contactless maps.
A secure mode is provided using authentication technologies and information protection from copying.:
Security is represented by several ways to protect against replay attacks, signal interception, hacking, and card cloning using cryptographic protection: encryption key diversification, AES 128 encryption when exchanging data between the reader and the identifier, and CMAC signature of the identifier.
Setting up the reader: using a special configuration card — by leaning the Bluetooth Configurator against the device or the Esmart® application. An individual Master card (all information is protected by the manufacturer's privacy program) for entering the configuration mode is included in the package.
User Settings:
Terminal blocks are provided for connection to the controller and an external antenna, and an audible readout indication. The operating temperature range is -40 °C... +85 °C. The power supply is DC 5~16 V, the power consumption is 100 mA at 12 V. Size — 91×62×8 mm, weight — 22 g.
Standard equipment:
Notes:
*BLE — Bluetooth with low power consumption.
** NFC is a wireless communication technology; the device acts as a pass card.
*** HCE — Host Card Emulation, host card emulation, virtual software identification.
