The Smartec ST-FE800 biometric USB scanner scans and digitizes fingerprints for subsequent template entry into the database of ACS and URV systems. High accuracy of fingerprint scanning is provided by a sensitive optical element with a working area of 15×20 mm, a color depth of 8 bits (256 gray levels) and a configurable resolution in the range of 500 ~ 1000 dpi.
