The facial recognition feature is built into the Sigur software. The process involves capturing a face in a video frame and comparing it with a template in the ACS database. To implement automatic access via the Mifare card and face geometry, you do not need specialized equipment and additional modules — just a directly connected IP video surveillance camera (you can use CCTV equipment if it is available at the facility), a modern computer* and a Face Verification license. Templates will also not be needed if there are already photos of employees in the ACS database.
Sigur face verification is a 2D recognition based on artificial neural networks. The geometry of the face is an additional biometric feature, the main one is the Mifare card. In two-factor mode, the program compares the geometry of the user's face with a single template, which significantly speeds up the process, reduces errors and allows you to use an unlimited database of faces.
The function operates in two modes: deny access if the face is not recognized; grant access, but with a note about the unrecognized face in the monitoring interface. The mode is selected by the administrator.
