Smartec STH-5230S-HPOE Thermal Jacket with Ethernet (PoE) power technology support

The Smartec STH-5230S-HPOE thermal jacket is specially designed for use with IP cameras. The model supports PoE (IEEE802.3af) and PoE+ (IEEE802.3at) standards, which ensures the operation of the thermal jacket and camera with a single UTP SAT5 cable. The video cameras installed in the casing can either have support for PoE technology or be without it. In the classical scheme, an integrated power converter with an output voltage of 12 V DC and a power of up to 26 watts can be used. To ensure the required power consumption of the built-in heater and IP camera, the STG-HPOE1 power injector must be connected between the switch and the thermal jacket.

Due to its large internal volume (100x90x240 mm), the STH-5230S-HPOE thermal jacket can be recommended for a wide range of IP cameras and with different dimensions of optics. The front opening of the housing cover provides convenient access to the device placed inside, the location of which is easily adjustable on the mounting plate. The design of the supplied swivel bracket is equipped with a built-in cable duct, which allows the cable to be wired into the wall or out at the base of the mount.
