Smartec ST-NC440F Network Controller

The Smartec ST-NC440F network controller is designed for four one-way or two two-way access points with identification by card, fingerprint, code or a combination thereof. Supports connection of four card readers with Wiegand 26 or Wiegand 34 interfaces, eight ST-FR015EM fingerprint readers with RS-485 connection. It works with most panels with a set of code.

Specifications:

The controller is based on a 32-bit 400 MHz processor, the OS is Embedded Linux. It runs under the pre-installed Timex software.

• Gateway mode, only when the reed switch is connected.

In the absence of a permanent connection to the server, the ST-NC440F operates offline according to the parameters embedded in the non-volatile memory. Flash memory capacity is 256 MB, RAM is 32 MB.

Hardware protection measures are provided against:

• Voltage and current overloads.
• Voltage overload across all communication ports.
• Voltage overload across all inputs/outputs.
• Reverse polarity of the power supply.

The controller is equipped with DIP switches for switching on the terminator and setting the device address in the RS-485 bus, connection status indicators and data transmission over TCP/IP, card reading, data transmission over the RS-485 bus when communicating with readers and PCs.

The current consumption is 350 mA (without power supply to the readers). The size of the controller is 186×106×36 mm, the box (on request) is 396×309×79 mm.
