The Gate-8000 autonomous specialized ATM controller is designed to organize automated control systems in the ATM location and, as a result, increase user safety and reduce the risk of vandalism. The KDR 1351 (1321) and KZ-602-M plug-in bank readers receive information from users' cards and transmit it to the controller making the decision on admission. Thus, only holders of bank cards serviced by specific ATMs can enter the premises.

The device works both independently and as part of a network (no more than 255 controllers in the RS-485 line). Supports the connection of two readers, the operation of two relays. Power supply is DC 12 V ± 10%, standby consumption is 30 mA, in operating mode — 90 mA. Operating conditions: temperature — -30 °C... +50 ° C, humidity — no more than 90%. Dimensions of the device: 200×155×40 mm.

Recommended system configuration: controller, reader, lock, reed switch, exit button, UPS. The KDR reader is powered by +5 V, it will need to be modified to supply +12 V.

Gate-8000 ATM Operating modes

The Gate-8000 ATM differs from the Gate-8000 by its support for bank card readers. Otherwise, it functions just like the basic model. 4 operating modes:

  1. Single-door. The controller serves one entry/exit access point or only the entrance and exit from the button. One relay and one reed switch, one or two readers are activated. One memory bank with 16,334 keys is used. All reed switch events are processed.
  2. Two-door. The controller serves two points of passage — independent one-way. Only the input, the output is from the buttons. Two relays, two buttons, and two readers are activated. The reed switch is not used at all or only works for tracking door break-ins. You need two key banks (8167 each).
  3. Turnstile. One two-way point of passage. Two readers, two relays, two turnstile sensors, one key bank (16,334) are involved, and all reed switch events are processed.
  4. The gateway. One two—door access point (one—way gateway: entrance by card, exit by push button). It uses two readers, two relays, two reed switches, and one key bank (16,334). In this mode, the second door will not open while the first one is open.

The controller is connected to devices and the network by group connectors grouped into pads. Setup is done by jumpers. There is a battery on the board to keep up—to-date real-time data and an event counter in case of a short-term power outage. The service life of the element is up to 3 years, but you need to check its condition every year.
