On-line UPS Ippon Innova RT 3000

The single-phase UPS On-line Ippon Innova RT 3000 with dual input voltage transformation (the inverter converts alternating current to direct current and vice versa) separates connected devices from the power grid, provides voltage in the form of a pure sine wave, protects servers and other expensive equipment. It is designed to connect up to nine devices via connectors 8×IEC 320 C13 and 1×IEC 320 C19 with mains and battery power. The full power of the UPS is 3000 VA, the maximum permissible load (active power) is up to 2700 watts.

UPS operating modes: linear, battery powered, Bypass (from the mains directly, through UPS filters, without battery support), ECO (from the mains directly, through UPS filters, with battery support), converter (fixed output frequency — 50/60 Hz), standby (without load).

Protection functions for UPS and connected devices

Permanently functioning input voltage filters protect the connected equipment from overloads when powered in linear mode, automatic bypass, battery power, and high-voltage mains emissions (764 J).

UPS supplies the devices from the mains if the input voltage does not exceed the limits of 120-276 V at 50% load and 176-276 V at 100% load. When the specified limits are exceeded or the power supply from the mains is cut off, the devices switch to backup power.

Additional functions: "Cold start" — connecting the UPS exclusively on battery power, emergency shutdown — EPO. The device's power can be increased by connecting additional battery modules (not included).

Autonomy

For backup power, the UPS is equipped with six 9 Ah lead-acid batteries. Switching between modes takes place without delay. Battery life:

• 30 % load — 22.8 min.
• 50 % load — 12.1 min.
• 70 % load — 6.9 min.
• 100 % load — 3.5 min.

After the battery is fully discharged, it charges up to 90% in 3 hours. Batteries can be easily replaced if necessary.

Interfaces and management

Communication interfaces are RS-232 and USB type B. For monitoring and control, a segmented rotary LCD display with beeps, 2-color backlight and mechanical buttons is provided for easy mode switching and demonstration of current information about the mode, battery charge, input and output voltage, connected loads, malfunctions. A universal slot for AS400 and SNMP cards is designed for data collection. The UPS package includes a CD-ROM with Russified WinPower software.

The Innova RT 3000 is additionally equipped with 2×IEC power cables, telephone, USB, Com (RS-232). Installation is possible in horizontal and vertical positions, installation in a 19" rack (2U Rackmount form factor) is available, the mounting kit is not included in the delivery.
