On-line UPS Ippon Innova RT 1000

The Ippon Innova RT 1000 On-line UPS is a single—phase UPS with dual input voltage conversion (AC to DC, DC to AC), which isolates the connected equipment from the mains and ensures a stable sinusoidal output voltage. It is mainly used to protect servers and other valuable equipment. It is designed for simultaneous connection of up to eight devices via IEC 320 C13 connectors powered by mains and batteries. The full power of the UPS is 1000 VA, the active power (maximum load) is 900 watts. It operates in the following modes: mains power, battery power, Bypass, ECO (economical), converter (frequency converter), standby.

Protection functions for UPS and connected devices

Continuous filtering of the input voltage protects the devices connected to the UPS from overloads when powered from mains, batteries and in automatic bypass mode, from high-voltage emissions (764 joules) in the network.

The UPS supplies power to the devices if the input voltage does not exceed 120-276 V at 50% load, 176-276 V at 100% load. When exceeding the limits of the specified intervals or disconnecting the power supply from the mains, it switches the equipment to backup power.

Additional features include emergency shutdown of EPO and "Cold Start" — connecting UPS only on battery power. An increase in power is provided by connecting additional battery modules (not included).

Autonomy

Backup power is provided by three 7 Ah lead-acid batteries. Switching between modes takes place without delay. Duration of offline operation:

• 30 % load — 21.5 min.
• 50 % load — 12.1 min.
• 70 % load — 6.8 min.
• 100 % load — 3.5 min.

After full discharge, the batteries are charged to 90% in no more than 3 hours. The battery can be easily replaced if necessary.

Interfaces and management

Communication interfaces are USB type B and RS-232. For ease of operation, Russified WinPower software is provided (CD included). The user interface is a multifunctional graphic LCD with 2-color backlight, sound emitter and mechanical control buttons for displaying current information about modes, battery charge, voltage, load, and simple mode switching. A universal slot for SNMP and AS400 cards is provided for collecting information.

Basic parameters

The Innova RT 1000 package additionally includes 2×IEC power cables, USB, Com (RS-232), telephone. It can be installed in vertical and horizontal positions, built into a 19" rack (2U Rackmount form factor), guides are not included in the delivery. The UPS is equipped with a light and sound alarm system. Cooling — forced, noise < 45 dB, IP20, dimensions 438×86.5×435 mm, net weight — 15 kg.
