The Hikvision DS-2CE59U8T-VPIT3Z surveillance camera operates in the HD-TVI standard and transmits an uncompressed 8-megapixel signal via a coaxial cable. The model is based on a highly sensitive (0.003 lux) sensor capable of recording a recognizable color video signal in low-light conditions, which makes it possible not to switch the device to black-and-white mode until complete darkness. Adapted to year—round outdoor use: it is supplied in an enclosure protected from dust and moisture according to IP67 standard, from damage according to IK10; operating temperatures -40 °C... +60 °C.

Smart IR illumination, implemented in EXIR technology, is responsible for lighting the scene in the dark: a thin-film diode and a diffusing rectangular lens (Hikvision patent) provide an image without highlighting the center, shading at the edges of the frame, or blurring outside the scene. The intensity of the diode radiation automatically changes depending on the distance of the object. The illumination range is 60 m.
